Boxing
While traditional (Western) Boxing originated in ancient Greece, New York City holds a special place in the sport’s history as well. Church Street successfully brings this ancient martial art into the 21st century by combining many of the traditional elements of the boxing work out with many of the more recent developments in the sport and fitness in general. Our staff have a combined resume of well over 300 fights, so you can be sure that you are learning from those that have experienced training at the highest level first hand.
| Muay Thai
Muay Thai Boxing or “Thai Boxing” originated in Thailand and is the official national sport of Thailand today. This sport is referred to as the “Art of the Eight Limbs” as it combines punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes (8 points of contact). Our Muay Thai classes are also taught by experienced instructors who have competed. Church Street has more Muay Thai Champions than just about any other club at both the amateur and professional level, so if we can get them in top shape just think what we can do for you!

Wrestling
Wrestling is one of the oldest forms of combative sports. Wrestling is the ultimate human test. It requires excellent strength and conditioning, but also serves as a demanding mental workout. The class teaches the fundamentals of the sport, but can be simply used as a great way to get into shape. Wrestling is a great complement to Boxing and Muay Thai.
