Amongst the many things that Bob Bozic knows how to do - fighting is certainly one of them. In addition to speaking several languages, being one of the most well read former fighters you've ever met and the reknowned for running Fanelli's Bar in Soho, Bob also trains at Church Street!
Although he's not competed as a fighter for well over 20 years, Bob's story was interesting enough to get him a full spread in the New Yorker Magazine. Of the many interesting stories Bob has, being the first person to fight against Larry Holmes in New York (at Madison Square Garden) is definitely one of the most interesting.
Make sure to check out the article or better yet, grab Bob the next time you see him in the gym and ask him to tell you about it himself!

Skender Halilli, coached by none other than Jason Strout, fought in Philadelpha on Saturday January 28th and won in impressive fashion! He now boasts a professional boxing record of 3-0. While Strout has worked closely with Skender, this is the first fight the two had working together.
Skender is not the type to brag about it ,so make sure to congratulate him the next time you see him in the gym!
